Midnight Casebook is a game of fictional mysteries. All characters and events are invented.
Subscriptions
Casebook Pro is offered as a weekly, monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, and as a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial; if you do not cancel during the trial, the yearly subscription starts automatically. Pro bought in one place unlocks the same Midnight Casebook account on iPhone and on the web.
Bought in the iPhone app
Subscriptions are billed through your App Store account. A subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.
Bought on midnightcasebook.com
Payments on the website are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Your subscription renews automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the Stripe customer portal or in the web game under Profile > Manage subscription; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further payments are taken. If you cancel during the free trial, you are not charged. Prices are shown in US dollars and may include taxes required in your country. If something went wrong with a payment, write to us and we will look into a refund.
Fair play
Leaderboards are for fun. We may remove scores that appear to be obtained by tampering with the app or the service.
Nicknames and photos
Nicknames and profile photos must not be offensive, sexual, violent or impersonate others. Other players can report a photo. We may hide photos and change nicknames that break this rule, and suspend accounts that repeatedly do.
